Meet Paul Thompson
Paul Thompson is a mathematics teacher with 14 years of experience, including over seven years in IB education as Head of Mathematics, ATL Coordinator, and Academic Director. Based in Singapore, he is currently teaching while completing a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Concordia University, St. Paul. New to Eblana, Paul brings experience in ESL and curriculum development and aims to explore how AI can support differentiation without over-reliance.
Meet Rita Bateson
Rita is the Co-founder and Director of Education at Eblana Learning. She is a renowned educator, author, and mentor with over 20 years in international education. A former Senior Curriculum Manager at IB Global Headquarters, she was also the founding Head of School for an IB continuum school. Rita now focuses on helping schools ethically embrace AI, offering expert guidance to navigate rapid technological change.
